If you’re a young person in the eastern DR Congo, we have exciting opportunities for you!

WYLD

If you are between the ages of 15 and 23 and have a burning desire to be a force for good in the DR Congo, you are eligible to apply for our three-year leadership programme, WYLD! Head over to our Programmes page (link below) to learn more about the programme and the application process.

Mwanzo Enterprise and Mwanzo Artistique

If you have a bright idea for a small business and or a desire to perfect your artistic talents, you can apply to be a part of our Mwanzo Enterprise or Mwanzo Artistique programmes. Click the link below to learn more.

Projet École and the UK schools programme

If you’re a teacher in eastern DR Congo or in the UK and are interested in having The Congo Tree work with your class, please send us an email so we can get to know you more! We would love to hear from you about how The Congo Tree can support you and your students to pursue a peaceful tomorrow for the communities you call home.

BECOME A BUSINESS PARTNER

If you are part of a business and have a dream of supporting a peaceful tomorrow in eastern DR Congo,  we share your passion! There are a number of ways that you and your business can get involved and support the work of The Congo Tree.

Sponsorship

You can sponsor a young leader as they move through our three-year WYLD leadership programme, ensuring that they are fully equipped with the knowledge, resources, and confidence they need to be a changemaker in their communities. As a sponsor, you’ll recieve regular updates about the our programmes and the young people we support, as well as recognition as a valued partner on our website and in our Goma-based office, The Treehouse.

Resources

Perhaps your business is passionate about supporting young entrepreneurs or developing project management software for young people. If you have a passion that you feel could be of interest to the young people we serve or that could support the aims of our organisation, we would love to hear from you. 

Knowledge share

Perhaps you are an expert in a field and you want to share your knowledge with our young people and pass on what you know. If you have an idea for a workshop, internship, or master class that you think may be of interest to young leaders in eastern DR Congo,  get in touch! We would love to hear your ideas.

Become an ambassador

We’re a small but very passionate team here at The Congo Tree. We can only reach so many people. If you are as eager to support young leaders in the DR Congo as we are, you can consider becoming an being an ambassador for The Congo Tree. We’ll provide you with the tools and information you need to spreading the word about the work we do with your colleagues, network, and community.
